Policies and Procedures
By booking a session with Lydia Canbakal Photography you agree to all of the policies/procedures listed below so please read carefully.
RE-SHOOT & REFUND
Due to any technical issues or sudden inclement weather for outdoor shooting a free re-shoot/refund will be offered.
Free re-shoots will NOT be offered for reasons such as clients clothing choice, dissatisfaction of makeup/hair, client facial expressions, uncooperative subjects (including babies, toddlers) or things beyond the photographers control.
RESCHEDULING
Min 3 business days is required to reschedule your session. Last minute reschedule requests and no shows will result in losing your deposit, otherwise it will go toward your new appointment. Rescheduling is allowed only ONE time from the original appointment date. Second reschedule request will result in forfeiture of your deposit even with the 3 business days notice.
Photographer shall reserve the date and time agreed upon, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time.
For this reason, please check your calendar before scheduling as your holding fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Rescheduling must be within 60 days of original appointment time or holding fee will be forfeited by the client.
HOLDING FEE/BALANCE DUE
The deposit is non-refundable and a non-transferable holding fee is required to reserve an appointment. The amount will be applied to your balance the day of the shoot. The remaining balance is due 3 days prior to your appointment time.
Once deposit received, Bymayasplanet Inc./Lydia Canbakal shall reserve the date and time agreed upon, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time. For this reason, in the event that you cancel or reschedule within 3 business days from appointment time for any reason, all monies paid shall be retained by Bymayasplanet Inc. / Lydia Canbakal in order to offset its loss of business.
Please check your calendar before scheduling and do not book if you do not accept that
your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
LATE ARRIVALS
If you are late for your shoot, this will result in less shoot time and fewer images/looks as I may have another client scheduled after you. If you are over 20 minutes late, this is considered a cancellation and will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
SICKNESS POLICY
If your child is sick, the photographer has the right to cancel the shoot without a refund. Due to the fact that I primarily work in close proximity with children, to protect myself and other clients from catching a disease, my sick policy will be strictly observed and any child (or parent) showing obvious signs of illnesses will be asked to leave and will result in losing your holding fee.
AFTER THE SESSION
Copyrights: The client can only view and select the photographs from the gallery which will be shared via PIXIESET. Only selected images will be edited by the photographer and all images can be downloadable from PIXIESET. After the editing process is completed the selected images will be shared via Wetransfer.
Final edits will be sent in 2-3 weeks after images selected and paid for any additional images. Additional images will not be released until they have been paid in full.
The gallery link will stay active for 3 weeks to give you a chance to order additional images at a later date.
After 3 weeks, the gallery will be stored and removed.
From a week of your shoot, you will receive a link to all of the unedited images via PIXIESET. From this link you are able to select the images you wish to order (included in your session) and have the opportunity to order additional images based on your packages.
You can create your favorite pictures on the website. I will not accept screenshots or a list of image numbers.
All images are edited by Lydia Canbakal, therefore cannot be re-edited or have filters added on social media!
Please don't forget to give photo credit!

COMPLIMENTARY RETOUCHES
In order to receive your retouches complimentary included in your package you must select the images to retouch within 30 days from your original session date. After 30 days you will lose your free retouches and will be charged $25 for basic retouching for each image that you wish to edit.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
By agreeing to a photography session with Bymayasplanet inc. / Lydia O. Canbakal, Client is waiving, releasing, and
discharging photographer and all it's affiliates, from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me or my family including my traveling to and from this event. Photographer is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release photographer from any claims against their person or their business. Client swears that each person is participating voluntarily in the said photography session and forfeit all right to bring a suit against Lydia Canbakal for any reason.
Images are released for personal use, for use on casting sites, printed headshots, social media, Linkdin, your website, your company’s website, post cards, IMDB, etc... Contact us regarding publication (either online of print) as we retain copyright.
